This Might Work is a collaboration between Mariah Barnaby-Norris and myself. We started this fun side project to collaborate on illustrative projects with topics we are excited to explore - along with things we strongly care about - and want to do our part to help out with! We don’t really know what we’re doing, but this might work... :) The branding for TMW is fun and wiggly; we wanted this brand to represent our quirky personalities but also be bold, fun, and recognizable.

We do equal parts of the illustrations and then bring them together to build interesting compositions. Our projects have featured prints focused on dogs, ovaries, coffee, and Australian animals. With a chunk of the profits from each type of print going to an organization affiliated with helping a certain cause connected to the subject matter.

We were also asked to do the branding for the 2019 winter Royal Bison market, which was such a fun time getting to build something for an art + craft market that is so big, lovely, and well known in the creative community in Alberta. We were given lots of freedom and made a quirky illustration focused brand for that seasons market, full of wiggly weird illos, bright eye catching colours, but also still holding a festive vibe to it all.
