THE ACORN SQUIRREL

The Acorn Squirrel was a project that I created for a 7 year-old girl, who was starting up a little business of paintings and hand painted peg dolls. I was provided with the name and given the information that she did not want “Disney Princess vibes”, I was then tasked to incorporate her favourite animal(squirrel) and shape(acorn). I tried to keep it fun and inviting with a bright grapefruit colour. While bringing it into a more sophisticated realm creating a modern/minimal squirrel icon and incorporated it into the acorn shape as a nice little symbol for her business.
