A branding project I worked on while at Berlin Communications, working with The Citadel Theatre to create their own Coffeehouse within the atrium space in the building.

Ghost Light Coffeehouse will be the place to be - whether it’s grabbing a great cup of coffee before work, or taking in live music and poetry readings while snacking on a hot pastry and sipping a refreshing cold brew. For theatre-goers, Ghost Light will offer that little something extra that will elevate the overall experience - a thirst quenching Alberta craft beer, or a caffeine boost to re-energize before the curtain is raised. Whatever brings people downtown, business or pleasure, Ghost Light will be a must-go.

Ghost Light’s identity is a convergence of elements, using the idea of a literal light and showcasing it with rings within the ‘o’s emitting rays off it. The Identity also resembles a drop of coffee creating a ripple effect when filling a cup. It even represents that hypnotic feeling you get off of an exciting experience, or the feeling you get after the initial taste of something delicious. The identity is clean and modern, while also encompassing an edgy quirkyness to it.
