The Too Much campaign is a project for Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels, which I worked on while at Berlin Communications. The task was to showcase the growing risk of staying at short-term rentals versus hotels. For this project we made a series of videos along with a printed brochure discussing the risk of short-term rentals. We chose to go in a more playful, ridiculous route, showing 3 scenarios of what living across the hall from a short-term rental could be like. This project also allowed for a lot of freedom visuals-wise, making the colour of the set and our lead condo owner (Norm) all fairly monochromatic in shades of blue, and then bringing in pops of pink from the short-term rental side to draw attention and create a bit of a jarring tone to it. Videography for this project was done by Laughing Dog Photography.
